I am a student teacher at a day care and I have to do 2 lesson plans a day. I feel like I am running low on ideas... I would really enjoy hearing some ideas that you may have. I work with children anywhere from age 0 to 3 years. Thank you for all who may be helpful (=

What can I do next?

Could you go the the "so what happened" and say exactly what kind of ideas?

For instance, is it for art, dramatic play, stories, science, math, etc? Do you make lesson plans based on themes or books? What age would you mostly work with from 0 - 3, because age makes a difference?

I'm more than happy to help, I just need a little more information.

There are tons of lesson plans for preschool teachers online. When I taught 3yo kids, as well as when I was working with my twins at home, I found lots of great ideas.

I recently found an awesome site. Google "pinterest". People pin ideas for everything on there. Use their search and type in "preschool," "preschoolers," "pre-K," "three year olds," "preschool crafts," "prschool centers" etc. You'll come up with tons of ideas. Just click on a picture of an idea you like and it will take you to the website of the person who pinned it. There you will find directions for the idea and likely other ideas. There are also ideas for everything else under the rainbow too. Love it!

I am thinking they love and would benefit from movement, light yoga and such along with soft music and breathing techniques. Do you know music? Rhythm? You can also teach a bit of nature and outdoors. Bugs, butterflies, trees, flowers, etc. Some science maybe? Weather, days of the week, seasons, etc.
Just some ideas. Good luck!
