Need Referrals on Pediatricians

My sons' pediatrician retired earlier this year and all of his patients are now patients of a young doctor who was a part of his practice previously. I am not as comfortable with the new doctor. She is not as thorough and we have had an ongoing issue with my youngest son that she can't seem to get solved. My husband and I are contemplating switching pediatricians, and would appreciate any good referrals. We live in DeSoto, so we would prefer someone downtown or South of downtown. We are also open to Grand Prairie.

I also live in DeSoto. We see DR. Towns at Southwest Pediatrics (close to Charlton Methodist). I have 4 children and this office is wonderful.

I highly recommend Dr. Mark Towns of Pediatrics Southwest (Drs. Hunke, Towns & Deacon). He's located off of Wheatland and Hwy. 67 between Charlton Methodist and the Credit Union of Texas. He has privileges at Children's Medical Center. I'm always able to get my sick child in for an appt. the same day. Here's his contact info:

Pediatrics Southwest

I've been taking my 6 year old son & 3 year old daughter there for over 3 years.
