I am currently seeking a pediatrician and a friend's cousin recommended Dr. Mary McGuffey. Does anyone take their newborn to Dr. McGuffey or have any suggestions to any great pediatricians in the area?
I use Dr Nancy Bishof, off Richmond road next to Saint Joe's East. She is wonderful. Private practice, never have to wait more then 5 minutes to be seen. The staff remembers you and are very friendly. I love her......Remember you can set up appointments to meet with pediatricians and get a feel for them before you choose one, and they should not charge you for this visit.... if so...don't go.

I am in the same group with Dr. McGuffey. I have seen her a few times and she seems very nice and thorough. I like all of the doctors in the group.
I take my kids to PAA, Pediatric and Adolescence and Associates. They are great. Open 364 days a year (only closed on Christmas). My oldest son had to be rushed to the ER at 2 in the morning for breathing problems and one of the PAA doctors met me there at 2 AM!!! I can't say enough positive things about them!
I dont know Dr MccGuffey - sorry. But I do see Dr. Ison at PAA. He is wonderful as is the whole practice! See their reviews on this site!

I happen to like the doctors at PAA (Pediatric, Adolescent and Associates). There are many doctors to choose from and they are all very nice. My aunt takes her four kids there as well and she loves them. They are located on Harrodsburg Rd which is close to my home and have good appointment hours.
yes i take my daughter to dr.hutchinson who is in practice with dr.mcGuffey and i love them. there are four doctors in the practice those two and then there are dr.thomas and dr. childers and my daughter has seen all of them and i really like them. although dr.mcguffey is getting ready to have a baby of her own any time so i dont know if she would be there when you had your baby but my daughter started going there when she was born and she is almost two now. my ob dr.barry campbell actually referred them to me they are a little out of the way but it is worth the drive plus i had my daughter at st.joe east so they were the ones who got to take care of her in the nursery
I also take my 2 kids to PAA on Harrodsbury Rd. I love all the doctors there.
