Hello. I just started selling AVON to try and make ends meet but I don't have any clients yet. Does anyone have any suggestions on some free advertising and how I can get my business going. I do have a website and I did hang catalogs. I just haven't got a single response!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

So What Happened?

Thank you all for your advice and suggestions. I got my first call today! We start the new campaign tomorrow and I am going to hang catalogs on doors and leave some at the local stores. I have also mentioned it on twitter and facebook. I will let everyone know how things go. Thank you!

Hi C.,

I have been selling Avon for about a year now. Most of my customers come from my full-time office job, but I have other customers as well. When I first started, I would load up my son in his stroller and drop off 30-50 catalogs around the neighborhood. I also advertised in my local HOA newsletter. Best thing to do is bring your catalogs to any party or event you can. I have done well at wine parties, book clubs and even friends and family's birthday parties. Don't be shy most people LOVE Avon. You just need to be sure to get their phone number or email address to send them emails or call them for follow-up. Where do you live? I always attend the Avon meetings as well. Feel free to email me if you need anything else! Thanks, R.

Hi C.,
I use to sell AVON and had a Pet Sitting Business. I would have little AVON parties with your friends. Go to Salons, Health clubs ect... Give them samples and treats and see if they respond.

Good Luck!!

I just started selling MonaVie (an acai berry drink) for the same reasons. I am going to be having friends over to introduce them to the product. I think that the people who support you will come to a business launching party for you. That will help you get the word out. Also, talk about your business on facebook, twitter, etc.

I have friends selling another product, but the same idea as AVON. The way I was introduced to it was a mutual friend gave a product party for the seller. It was fun and very lucrative for the seller. (Back to the days of the Tupperware Parties).
Good luck with everything.

I have a list of free advertising sites I can send to you if you would like. It's long, so I don't really care to list them all here. Message me if you would like me to send it to your email.

Have a GREAT day!
