Need Help Finding a Good Copier (Or Multifunction Printer/copier)

I am looking to buy a good copier... I am leaning towards a multifunction device - copier/print/scan (and fax is optional). I am currently using our fax machine to make copies for our small business; however, I am making about 1,200 copies a week and I think we are finally ready to purchase an actual copier (or multifunctional device). We have a small network printer and a color printer. So I "technically" dont need a printer; however, I would like for the copier to give me the option to scan and would love to do duplex copying. Can anyone recommend a good a copier (not a personal one, but not a huge one... there are only three people in the office). Or a good multifunction printer/scanner/copier we can use. I have gone on-line and am overwhelmed by the selection... and the reviews of the equipment varies by website (one website ranks a machine as very good while a different one ranks it as mediocre. Thanks for your response.

What can I do next?

Try buying one from Costco. If it doesn't live up to your expectations, you can always return it.

I use a Brother copier/scanner/fax, it doesnt have a color printer, but I've been using it for over a year and havent had a single problem with it. I make zillions of copies and have to replace the toner unit about every 2 to 3 mos. Mine doesnt do double sided copying tho, you have to turn the paper over and stuff it back in the machine to to that, that's the only thing I dont like about it.

I have had an HP all-in-one...I have never had to do 1200 copies a week - since it's an ink jet - i would NOT RECOMMEND you get an ink jet - with that many copies you would be spending a boatload in ink...

Get a laser printer/copier...you can actually lease one from a copier company for cheap - in my old job - ours was a Epson fax, copier, printer, color - multi-function and it was $100 a month to lease and they replaced the toner, etc... and we made 4K copies a month...it was even set up to charge different associations for the copying fees....

I'm not sure if this would work for you (since I think it's a personal one?), but this is what I have and LOVE!!
