How sweet of you. You can do something special on very limited funds.
Just need to be creative.
-Take 30 strips of small paper & write one thing on each piece that you
love about him.
-Order his favorite foods in from a restaurant. Go pick it up if they don't deliver.
-Have his favorite drinks on hand (beer, wine or mixed drink).
-Rent his favorite movie from Redbox so he can watch later that night.
-Get cozy with him after the kids go to bed (watch the movie, make some
popcorn, snuggle up, light a candle....that's more for you but it's fun).
-give him a back rub
-another idea is to decorate your house in his football team's colors.
-buy him a blanket w/his team logo
-have some fun munchies on hand (beer nuts, pretzels, pigs in a blanket..
.....think bar food).
-maybe set up a corner of your dining room like a pub (rig a bar w/barstools, pub mix or pretzels on the bar, have his favorite show/game
on the tv, play darts in the garage (set a wager), do a beer tasting or wine tasting (whichever he prefers. You can get a pack of 12 diff beers from either a Cost Plus or wine & beer store.).
-just keep it inexpensive from the limited amount of money you can normally spend or take from the account.
-you can even invite a few friends over (surprise-like) for beer, food, sports tv or a game.
-Be sure whatever you do to make it based on what he likes not on what you think what he would like (that usually ends up being what us females want).
