If you have never waxed your face before, I would highly suggest threading. Waxing can rip layers of skin off and leave the area shiny if you have sensitive skin.

Try www.stylesofindia.com to find a location near you. It cost about $8 for eyebrows.

Good luck!

Go to Sephora in the mall. They have a wax kit that is "sugar wax"... meaning that it is WATER SOLUABLE and very easy to remove. It comes in a box with a pot of the wax (no need to heat - use cold), a packet of small sheets (therefore no cutting involved), and a packet of spatulas (which you can rinse easily and reuse). it is the POETIC BROW SHAPING SUGAR WAX KIT - but you can use it on your lip or anywhere else you may need it. You can also get it at sephora.com. GOOD LUCK!

i bought a personal wax system from walmart for myself. it was about 20 dollars but came with the warmer, the wax strips, and the roll on wax tubes. I dont like the roll on so i bought orange sticks so i can take off the lid of the roll on part and dip the stick in there to apply it to my face.

The best thing I can suggest is going to have it done. Da Vi Nails is off broadway and just past sunset ( LIncold Heights shopping center) they are really reasonable....10 for lip ect...just call befor going. ###-###-#### they als do eyebrow waxing realy well. I useally go every two weeks or maybe 3 if I pluck my own here and there.

Also Sally Henson makes waxes strips which are easier to use then traditional wax, just head with blow drier pull appart ,apply and pull.

However which way you go....you might notice bumps a few days latter...my skin breaks out just a little and then goes away. I think its something about the wax dunno

Good luck

Hi, I recommend you go to Sallys Beauty Supply, there you can find the wax and the strips and everything you need to go along with. Best of all the salespersons there are trained and can answer any questions you might have. And you don't need a professional card to purchase there.
