I'm in my 17th week of pregnancy with my first baby and have decided to go with a different doctor. I've seen her 3 times now and am simply not impressed with her. Any suggestions? I prefer a woman doctor.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I ended up going with Dr. Jennifer Reinhart at Associated Women's Health. When my husband and I met her, we knew within a few minutes that she is the right doctor for us. She was kind, inquisitive, and took her time in answering all our questions. Thanks for the recommendation!

Congratulations! My ob/gyn is Dr. Jennifer Hutchison at Copperstate Ob/Gyn. She is absolutely fabulous. The doctor's at Copperstate only deliver at St. Joseph's which is great because they have wonderful labour and delivery nurses. Good luck with everything.

I LOVE Dr. Westerband! She delivered my daughter Jan. 05 and I am now 8 weeks pregnant, and will definitely plan on keeping her. She's at the womens center on La Cholla by NW. She just totally puts me at ease and is very thorough and caring. I've moved about 45 minutes from her office, but it's worth the drive. Good luck and congratulations!

D.,

Congratulations on your upcoming birth! I applaud you for being strong enough to make a change with your provider. Your birth-day is YOUR day, and you should definitely have a supportive and caring team to support you - to give you a positive birth experience! Kudos!

I just wrote a review of the Birth and Women's Health Center for Mamasource. They are amazing midwives! You can deliver with them at the center or at TMC. www.tucsonbirthcenter.org ###-###-####

Or, if you prefer an MD, Dr. Jennifer Reinhart is the BEST!

I am a birth doula, and so I have the opportunity to work alongside all providers with my clients at each of the Tucson hospitals and the Birth Center.

I can recommend the doctors at the UMC's OB/GYN clinic (8th floor). I see Dr. Coppola and all my friends have too for their pregnancies. I delivered my girl 5 years ago with her. I am pregnant again (27 w) and I am seeing her again. I am very very happy with her and so have my friends. Good luck!
