I still clip both my boys - 11 & 6. But they also have NO desire to do their own and would let them grow till they couldn't open doors or put on shoes LOL

My daughter is 6 1/2. She clips her own fingernails and does a really good job! Toenails are still hard for her to do because they're either too little or too thick.

My DD was about 8 when she did, but it can be a chop job sometimes. I still do it for her sometimes and she's going to be 10 next month.
