I have a 14yr old sister who I will do anything for but our age difference has really been a lil problem her b day is come n up an I dont know were to take her or what to buy These teens do so much different then I did grown in up. I call her do do things but she turns me down or we dont agree on were to go. what should I say or do so that we can try to be a lil closer to each other even though were ages apart?
Toni v were 16yrs apart thats why its been so hard for us to come to agree on things lol but its ok I decided that I will just plan a girls day out n ask her if theres something else she had n mind thank u everyone for your ideas n advice it helped me out alot!!

How about taking her to a movie--let her pick which O.?
How about getting her nails done and going out for dinner? Maybe getting her a cute outfit to go with her nails. You don't say how much you want to spend, that would help.

You will have to appeal to her directly to see what her interests are. And then just ask her if you can hang out with her. A 14 year old girl should want to hang out with the.. older, cooler sister, unless of course she has something to hide she doesn't want mom and dad finding out about...i.e. BOYS! If that's the case...all I can say is look out.
Do the same that you would do with a friend your own age that you didn't know what to do for...ASK HER!!!! She is going to be able to give you some ideas and you will be sure that what you are planning will appeal to her
