Looking for great, sentimental grandmother gift ideas for Mothers' Day. My son is 16 months old, so I'm thinking something with his hand or footprints. Your ideas are appreciated!!

What can I do next?

My mother LOVES stepping stones for her garden that have her grandchildren's footprints and handprints in them. I saw in the DMN this morning that Michael's has the kit on sale for $14.99. Good luck!

You could go to one of the pottery painting places and use his hand/footprint to tie in something she likes.

We did this for my husband for last Father's Day:

You can google "pottery painting footprint" under images for some ideas, and most pottery painting places have websites with examples.

I'm not sure where you are but our favorite places are Art From the Heart in Coppell and Sunshine Glaze in Southlake Town Square. We haven't tried Feet of Clay in Plano but I haven't heard very favorable things about it (inattentive staff).

I did a photo book of my step-kids for their mom and grandmothers. I used Shutterfly.com - super easy and it was less than $20 per person. Of course, you may have to do overnight shipping now which would probably double the price...I think I saw Wolf Camera was doing it also..maybe check there.
