Hey Mamas!

I'm looking for a Mommy and Me group or class for me and my 1yo son. I am a single mom, so anything relating to that would be good too. I'm also working on getting healthy and raising my son in a healthy lifestyle, so an exercise group would be cool. I work full-time and I'm a full-time student (I graduate with my AS in December! Yay!) so I want to find something that we can do together starting in January that's just for Nick and Mommy since we don't get alot of time for that right now, unfortunately. Any help or ideas would be much appreciated! :)

Thanks!

I don't live in Florida so I don't know the area, but I have found lots of those types of classes at the local dance and gymnastics schools. We are currently doing a Mommy and Me music class and mommy and Me dance class. So I'd recommend checking there first. I've also heard of gyms having classes for mommy's and their tots. Good luck. they are lots of fun.

Have you checked your city for rec classes? Sometimes they offer mommy & me type classes. Another great option is story time at the library. Places like My Gym & Gymboree also have those types of classes.

A weekend Stroller Strides class might fit the bill if they offer it in your area? Have you checked out mommy/fitness groups on Meetup?

I use to teach a few classes for Mommy and Me dance and fitness. It was a lot of fun! I was actually thinking about starting this up in a home environment with a class for dance or fitness. Check your rec building or a local dance studio! If I was closer, I'd gladly help you out!

Good luck!
