I woke up just before it happened..and heard a rumbling thought it was a large truck going through the neighborhood but it wasn't quite the right sound then the bed shook for a couple of seconds the rumbling continued a little bit then nothing...........I wasn't scared because it was so short, did not even have time to think of getting the kids or that it was an earthquake until afterwards....so there you go....

It wasn't bad. I found it interesting that you can hear the frame of the house flex.

I couldn't help but think okay so we have earthquakes and floods but we are still not Japan. Things can always be worse.

Oh yeah, I forgot about our plague of locusts. :p

What have the Missourians done to deverve such phenomenons? All these terrible tornadoes and now earthquakes. THe Missouri River is flooding and the Mississippi has flooded too. At least they don't spawn hurricanes.

Stay safe my Missouri friends.

Yes! My husband and i both felt it around 3:15am. I even commented to him how I couldn't believe we both woke up and felt it. It was like a big train going past our house. We live in Chesterfield and it was definitely felt. I wasn't scared but it was just bazaar!

yep I felt it. And I didn't feel it bad. But I have lived in California for a big part of my life so I am very use to them. Why does everything happen in Missouri?!?! Tornadoes, blizzards, flooding, extreme heat!! I swear we don't get tsunamis just because we don't have an ocean near by.

Poor Missouri...I have not heard about the earthquake yet...I have been watching cartoons with my sick kids.

It seems funny to me that all of this has happened since the rapture stuff came about in may....To those hit by the tornadoes and now an earthquake...I wouldnt blame them for thinking it really was the rapture. It really isnt though! timing is just insane with how it has all worked out.
