Magazines That Accepts Children Short Stories

I have been looking for something similar. I tried writing to a children's magazine--cannot recall the name--but they have not yet responded. My daughter writes her own books. She writes the story and illustrates them, calling them comic books. I know that if I was able to get something out there she would be over the moon.
