Our family loves to go to Disneyland. We just learned that you can visit Mickey Mouse at his house and get to see him one on one during our last trip. I am looking for other cool things to do with the kids that maybe unknown to me at this time. Please share and ideas that you might have. Thanks.

There is a place that is called Midevil Times. IT is not inside Disneyland but it a cool place to go. You basically get served dinner midevil style (no silverware) and watch a show a battle. It is not gory and lots of fun for adults and kids.

Hidden Mickies! There are hundreds of hidden Mickies all over Disneyland. You can purchase a book of clues at any of the stores on Main St. It is so much fun to go on a scavenger hunt for all of the hidden Mickies!

Happy Hunting!

J.,
Back in Pooh Corner, twice a day (times are posted on the tree)you can get in line to get pictures with pooh, tigger,
etc, and of course autographs. They don't stay out too long, so get in the line early. Our kids loved this as teenagers too. We also did a charachter breakfast with goofy, that one is for kids a little older also. Ours were 14,10 and 8 when we did all of this. They still love it anyway, even now.

Hi J.,

I'm just now reading your post because we got back from Disneyland yesterday (my daughter's 1st time)! Yes, you can see Mickey in his house in Toon Town...don't be scared off by the line once you get to the back of the house because you will get to see him. We got confused the 1st time since we got all the way to the back of the house and saw a lot of people just standing around watching old time Mickey films...but no Mickey. We didn't realize (until later) that he was in the next room & that the people were waitng in line to see him. We also saw Goofy & Minnie Mouse in Toon Town. We saw Donald Duck, Cruella DeVille & Pluto on Main Street...Captain Jack Sparrow was in New Orleans Square and Pooh & Friends were in Critter Country.

In California Adventure, you can have lunch with the Princesses at Ariel's Grotto...this was a major highlight for our "princess" and worth the $$ - the food & service were great...highly recommend reserving your spot in advance if you go. Also, Disney has a "Princess Faire" (next to Toon Town) that is very cute.

Also, right now they have the "Trick or Treat" party going on every night where you can dress up in costumes...we didn't do it this year but it sure looked fun. There is an extra fee for that party...can't remember how much but the info is on the Disney website.

I just read that they are opening a Tinkerbell & Freinds area somewhere around the Matterhorn and Fantasyland...I think it said that it would be open before the end of 2008. It is supposed to be based on the new Tinkerbell movie coming out.

I don't know...maybe you already knew about this stuff but thought I'd share it anyway. Since it was my daughter's 1st time, we focused on the kid rides and trying to do everything that a 4 yr old would like. However, I was pleasantly surprised that there were new things for me to discover now that I was there with a child...very fun to "re-discover" Disney through her eyes!! We can't wait to go back! :-)
