I am not a crafty person at all and i am wanting to hang up the letters w/my son's name on it and have material on it. Does anyone know how to do this (reasonably priced)

The only way I know how to put the fabric on the letters is to use a special clear-drying glue that is used for decoupage. Here's what I would do:
Go to Michaels or Hobby Lobby. Bring the letters with you if you already have them. Tell them what you want to do and they should be able to guide you through it.
I recently put my son's name up on his wall too, I went to Target on 183/Beltline and bought wood letters that I needed and spray painted them to match his room. I don't think I spent $10 total (although his name only has four letters in it).
Are you talking about putting cloth material on the letters, or decorating them some other way? I don't know how to put cloth on letters, but I do know that you can buy the letters at Michaels for about $2.00 each, buy some fine grit sand paper, and paint/decorate them yourself. Then you just buy the brackets to glue on the back (to hang them with) at Wal-Mart or somewhere like that. Good luck!
