I am asking for a friend. Her daughter is in need of a nutriotionist to guide her in a healthy diet. We know kids do not like to listen to their parents. My friend lives in Flower Mound. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

MD Pediatrics (offices in Lewisville, Flower Mound, and Coppell) has a nutrition program for their patients -- that might be one idea. Their number is ###-###-####. We've never used the nutrition program, but have been patients there for 10 years and have been very happy with the office.

I use a wonderful certified nutritionist. Her name is Michelle Burris ###-###-####. She is the best one I have ever found. She's been doing it for 20 yrs. She's the most knowledgeable person I know. She also can do all kinds of testing as well. She was able to help me where no one else was able to. I've been to all kinds of Drs., Naturopath and Homeopathic professionals and she has been the only one to be able to figure out what was wrong. Please feel free to call me any time. You don't want to use a regular Dr. with a nutrition program because they honestly don't have the training or experience that a good certified nutritionist has. I've been researching this stuff for years and have a lot of knowledge myself. It may be a little more expensive to go this route, but trust me, it will be much much cheaper in the long run and you will get to the root of the problem right away. What happens is you go the regular route and waste tons of money and lots of time and still don't have the answer. Also most of the tests that most doctors do are not conclusive enough. T.
