Looking for Non-denominational Church to Attend Houston/Crosby

I grew up in a non-denominational church & value the memories made. I am now a mother of two & want the same for my girls but my church no longer exsists & I'm having a hard time finding one similar.
The paster was a regular man who had seen both good and bad in life & was not judgemental. He did not preach just a "feel good" message that we hear so much about today & he was really down to earth.
The church had youtht groups, couples bible study, VBS, Sunday school for the kids & day care for infants.
It was big yet a close family.
If anyone knows a church like this in Crosby or Houston areas, please let me know. I really want to get my family back into church & I want it to be the right one for our family...especially for my children.
THANKS!

What can I do next?

You won't find a better chuch than Grace Church of Humble. Seriously. They have 4 weekend services. Sat evening at 6pm; and Sundays at 8:30, 10 and 11:30am. Wed at 7pm. www.gcofh.com

Your situation sounds a lot like mine. I'm a 36 year old stay at home mother of a 5yr old son and 9mo old daughter. I grew up in a non-denominational church in Indiana and have finally found one that is just what we needed in Mont Belview. It is New Wine Christian Church. It is quite small so the study groups are limited but excellent. Services begin at 10:30 on Sundays and at 7pm on Wed. If you would like some more info or would like to just "know" someone before you decide to go you are more than welcome to give me a call. My number is ###-###-#### and I live in Dayton. Hope to see you there.

I've heard Brother Jerry preach for years. I love his humor and style. You listen to every word he says. Anything but boring! You feel at home when you walk in those doors. Everyone is so nice & everyone is welcome. I love being able to wear my boots & jeans to church. Brother Jerry is on the radio (details on website) so check him out & decide if you want to visit. Email me in private if you want to meet me & follow me there. It can be a little tricky to find. But so worth the drive!
