Hi There! We just recently finished the lower level of our home. We have a furniture set including a couch, love seat and big chair. I'm looking for some good fitting slip covers in a neutral shade, so I can paint any color I choose on the walls. Any tips? I've checked out JC Pennys and Target on line so far... wondering if anyone has had a bad experience or good tips. Thanks!

Check out www.surefit.com , and order a catalog. I have oredered from here along with my mom and serveral of our friends. The selection is AMAZING!!!! You can get anything from fancy-schmancy to denim. The best part is they will make it to actually fit your couch so it doesnot slip around. All you have to do is measure it, they send you a chart and show exactly where and how to do it. Plus they are not going to bust your bank acct.

Last time I was at Bed Bath and Beyond, I found some there, that looked nice, but I wasn't there to buy them at that time, and if you get those 20% off cards in the mail, that would help too.

I've bought from Surefit and really liked it. The cover I bought was very well made and durable: http://www.surefit.net/

Hi M., I am always in the market for good slipcovers (I have 5 kids). I recently bought some surefit at bed bath and beyond, I bought the strech two peice, they are not supposed to look like slipcovers when on. However, they don't seem to fit right, I had to safety pin them to cover the front bottom, but they do protect the furniture and look nice,if you don't look to closely. I would recommend shoping around, they were very expensive, try overstock.com, they have a really good selection and price range, that is were my next set will come from!

You could make your own by using a sheet, pin and mark with a dressmaker's chalk or a scrap of soap, and pin some more. Then sew on the lines you marked. You can look on craftster for a better tutorial! You could use sheets from the thrift store for the most economical value.
