There is a place in Willowbend Mall that does it. My husband got my dog's pictures painted there for Christmas for me and it came out great. I don't remember the name of the place; I'll try to remember to ask him, but there can't be too many places there that focus on art!

She will mail it to you.

You might try going to the arts area of old Plano/McKinney downtown. There might be someone in one of those businesses that does personal potraits.

Richard Nunez ###-###-####. He is amazing. We have reserved him to do a portrait of my father in law. He can actually attend a family gathering and complete the portrait on location. I saw a Michael Phelps he did and it literally looked like he was going to swim off the page. He has this amzazing texture ability. If the dog has any curls in his hair he will be able to capture them.
Good Luck!
