The dr. who delivered my first child last year - Dr. Phyllis Gee in Plano - was excellent. However, a few months after my son was born, I received a letter notifying me that she was no longer delivering babies. Bummer! I LOVE Presby Plano and would like to deliver my next baby there. But, I need to find a new OB/GYN!
My ob/gyn is Dr. Gwen Webster. Their office nurse and staff are really nice and helpful which is an added bonus. Her partner is Dr. Jaffee who I heard was really good also. Their website is http://www.planohealthcareforwomen.com/home/default.asp Hope this helps!
Dr Garrett Garner at Northlake OB-Gyn, on the first floor of the Presby Plano medical building that's near the emergency room entrance.
He is young, energetic and a great surgeon. I know two female OB-Gyns that did a residency/fellowship program with him (friends of mine, but they don't work at Presby Plano).
I had my second child with Dr Garner - he is funny and a great doctor. I had a c-section with no complications. The man loves what he does! His wife is the head physician at the ICU at Children's Hospital. They just seem like really great people.
I have been using Dr. Vanessa Woolridge located in the medical buildings next to Medical center of Plano, however, I do beleive she delivers at both hospitals. It would definitely be worth checking into because she is an excellent Dr.
Hey K., Dr. Gee also delivered my son 7 years ago. She was in practice with my doctor at the time, Dr. Jennifer Broderick Thomas who delivered the same day I did, so Dr. Gee did my C-Section. I haven't been in recently but my mom just went in and told me that Dr. Gee wasn't in that practice anymore??? Anyway, I still use Dr. Broderick Thomas and have been really happy with them, her PA is great too so you may want to give them a call. Do you know why she isn't delivering anymore? Good Luck, A.
My doctor is Ed Wells at Plano Presby - ###-###-#### - I LOVE LOVE LOVE him! He's wonderful - but has a pretty busy practice. Good Luck!
Dr Darrell Robins is the man! he delivered my son cesarean in about 36 minutes. I've been going to him for about 10 years and I LOVE him - he's very no nonsense about what you do and don't need to do and he's very caring without being an alarmist. I wouldn't want to have a baby again if he wasn't available!
