Looking for a Park for Picnics

I am trying to plan a birthday party for my husband in July. Does anyone know of a park in the area that we can have a picnic? Something with picnic tables and possibly grills would be great, and a nearby playground would be even better. So far my invite list is 65 people, including kids. I can have it at my house if need be, but I was hoping not to host so many people. Am I dreaming or does such a place exist?

Or if you have any other ideas of where to have a party? I'm trying not to spend much money, especially since I'm hoping to get a limo and head to some clubs or something with some friends. It's a big b-day this year so I'm trying to make it special. Thank you!!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you all for your help. I looked into your suggestions and they were either booked or required a fee. I would have paid the fee if I had too, but I ended up finding one that was free. Lower Perkiomen Valley Park right off 422.

I also found a pretty cool website in case any one wants to check it out... http://www.norristownmom.com/outdoor_activities/playgroun... This link helps find playgrounds in the area, by map! The site also helps find other places too.

I love that there are places out there to find help when you need it. Thank you ladies!!

Kerr Park in Downingtown. They have a few pavilions with picnic tables and also a very nice playground. I know at least one of the pavilions has a charcoal grill built into the side (brick). Here's a link to the playground:http://www.ccmomc.org/public/playground.htm
Hope that helps!

Riddley Creek Park is free...has clean bathrooms...play areas for kids...and covered area for picnic tables in case of rain...and grill pits.

Bell Tavern park in Downingtown isn't huge, but it has lots of tables, I'm pretty sure with grills, and a great playground for the kids. Good luck!

Mandarach Park in Limerick has a huge pavillion with picnic tables and a great playground. I;m not sure about grills etc, but its a worth checking out if you live nearby.

Good Luck!

Hi. I dont know where you live but I am pretty sure Evensburgh park in Collegeville, PA allows this. I say this because a friend of mine had a family reunion there. But you might want to check. Good luck!
