Hi everyone. We are trying for our 4th baby (i know crazy). I love my current OBGYN who delivered my 3 kids but is in south Dallas. Now we live in McKinney, TX and desperately need an OBGYN near home. Looking for someone that I will love as much as my last one. Thanks.

What can I do next?

I would recommend Dr Meredith McIntire at Centennial Medical Center. I recently moved here and found her, she is the best. I am expecting my first child 1/8/09 and she has been wonderful. I can't say enough good things about her and her office.

I second Craig Ranch OBGYN (that is the new name for North Texas OBGYN and the Dr. Shimer group). I have been going to them for 3 years, had one child and am trying for number 2. They are awesome, everyone of the doctors in the practice is amazing!

I second the nomination for Dr. Luciani--he was FANTASTIC with my first child, in spite of several complications. He was always very patient, knew exactly what to do AND took the time to explain everything to me thoroughly. I delivered at Med Center McKinney, and had a very good experience there.

The Shimers delivered both of my kids. They are wonderful! I had complications with both and they handled everything perfectly.

Dr. Tricia Shimer and her husband Dr. Andy Shimer North Texas OBGYN in McKinney Craig Ranch off of 121 between Custer and Alma (off of 121) ###-###-####. I had my 2nd baby that they delivered via C-section at Presby Allen I think they also have privledges at the mckinney hospital Centennial sp? and McKinney. I would rec. the Allen Presby for a "normal' no complications delivery-- Allen has a smaller feel and PRESBY hospitals are GREAT! wishing you a Happy and healthy baby #4 for you!

I know it's a bit of a drive but i would recommend Dr. Garrett Garner at Presby Plano. He's with Northlake OBGYN. I had a very bad pregnancy (hospitalized 6weeks prior to son's birth) and he was awesome! Always returns calls himself, calls to give lab results the next day himself! It takes about 20minutes to get to his office but well worth it. He also runs on time!! The only time I ever waited was when he had to go to the hospital to do an emergency C-Section. They also have sono and lab in their office which is very convienent. Dr. Garner has 3 kids himself and is great with husbands. And, most of the RN's at presby plano see him (I'm an RN too).

Dr. Luciani at McKinney hospital. ###-###-####

I delivered #6 with him and when I have another I will go back to him. He studied with midwives when he was in the military and believes in natural childbirth if that is what you want. He seems to be very smart and is able to answer any questions that you have. They always return phone calls if you have any questions. He delivers at McKinney and Allen. I won't go to Allen again-that's for sure (bad experience)-but will go to McKinney.
