Hi everyone I am looking for a new pediatric dentist in the area, my request is for someone who has had a very scared child go to the dentist and come out okay. My daughter has had a really bad experience and since has gone to another dentist who wont see her again because of the way she is carring on. Any suggestions on how to calm my 4 year old down, she needs do go asap, because she is missing a filling and has decay under an excisting filling. The work she has had previously was not very good obviously, since you shouldn't get decay under a filling. I wont throw that dentist under the bus, although in my opinion I should, so any suggestions I wont respond too, because I am sure they will be suggested. Thanks in advance!

What can I do next?

We use Dr Cornilius Dyson. He is located in Washington, NJ so it is a bit of a drive but sooo well worth it. My little girl begs to go to the dentist. After your visit they get a balloon, a new toothbrush and tokens to use in his candy/goodie machines. Wonderful experience everytime!!! Good luck!!

I use Dr. Marsha Gordan's practice. We actually see Dr. Wanda Janik there. The staff if wonderful!! They are a pediatric practice in Allentown and I refer many of clients to them as well. I am a pediatric speech therapist and she is fantastic with the special needs population that I serve. Good Luck!

I just started going to Natural Dentistry in Palmer Twp yesterday. I was REALLY impressed! They do kids too & it's a very calming environment.

The great thing about them is that they do everything naturally & are very holistic. None of their fillings contain any mercury, etc.... I really was very impressed!!!

They gave me some business cards to pass out to people that gives them a FREE initial exam (free Xrays, etc....). I'd be happy to pop one in the mail to you! If you want to message me your address, I'll do that asap.

Like I said, I was very impressed. I'll probably be switching my kids there very soon!

I have a 4 yo autistic daughter who I take to Dr. Sumar in Bethlehem. She has been great with my daughter and my daughter has done very well. My daughter has had to get three caps and three fillings as she won't let me brush her teeth, but at the dentist she does well, and Dr. Sumar talks lovingly to her the entire time keeping her calm and then she gets a sticker a toothbrush and a quarter to get a bouncy ball from the machine. We love her and now my 1 yo son is seeing her as well.

We use Dr. Gordon & Dr. Janik in Allentown (off of Rte. 309). They are wonderful as are the staff. The only thing is they don't accept insurance so you need to pay the visit up front. They will bill your insurance for you.
