Does anyone know the address to send a letter to Santa from which you actually get something back in the mail? I know there is one, but did not have much luck finding it on the internet? Thanks!

What can I do next?

I just sent one off to this address:

Santa Claus
PO Box 56009
North Pole, Alaska
99705-1099

I think it's supposed to be returned to us.

The next thing I am going to do is "put" a letter in the mailbox addressed to my child from Santa in case the other one doesn't get returned to us.

I saw this on the US Postal service website:

I know there are a number of places that you can pay to have a personalized letter sent to your child.

Funny you ask this today, because the craziest thing happened!! So last week my 9 year old put a letter to Santa in our mailbox. I'm guessing this might be her last year believing, so I want her to fully enjoy it. She addressed it "Santa - North Pole". That's it. Nothing more. She put a stamp on it and put it in the mailbox. I wasn't even sure what the mailman would do when he saw it. I actually thought he might throw it out. Or leave it in the mailbox altogether. I meant to grab it out there after my kids went to school, but I was working (substitute teacher) that day so never had a chance. My daughter got the mail that day when we got home and apparently her letter was gone. It had gone to the North Pole! So I'm thinking, isn't that nice the mailman took it and now my daughter thinks it was actually mailed. COOL. And I thought that was the end of it. But, today my daughter got the mail in inside was an envelope from the North Pole - addressed to her!!!!! Even I could not wait to see what was inside! We opened the letter together and it's a letter from Santa!!! It just said that he'd gotten her list and that he'd find something nice for her, etc. It was honestly the cutest thing ever. So, I don't know if all mail carriers or post offices do this, but I think it's awesome!! So maybe try that? Or ask your mail carrier?
