With the holidays fast approaching, I felt myself already stressing out, so I needed to take the time to be thankful!!!! Thankful for a healthy 2-year-old, thankful for my hubby, thankful I get to spend the holidays with my granparent's who will celebrate their 61st wedding anniversary on Christmas, as well as getting to spend the time with my parent's and extended family and for my country and the men and women who defend our freedom!! I hope we all go into the season with a grateful heart and take the time to help someone! So, what are you thankful for?!?

What can I do next?

I have a couple of really basic things that I am thankful for....
-My son's life. When he was a newborn we were in a traffic accident and he spent a month on life support and another month in the hospital. He is PERFECTLY healthy and has had no lasting effects from the accident.
-My second son's health.
-My healthy pregnancy! (soon to be daughter)
-My husband's job - the very fact that he is working at a job that he hates, but continues to do becuase he knows he is lucky to have work.
-A house (that we rent), heat that works, food on the table, love in my family.

Really basic stuff, but sometimes I think that people forget that all the things you can buy are not the most important things. Food, Shelter, Health, and love...

I'm thankful for my beautiful family, we arent perfect but we sure love each other more than words can express. I'm thankful to work for a company that cares about family. I'm thankful for the opportunities that have presented themselves. Most of all I'm thankful to have God in my life, without him none of the above would be possible.

To end on a silly note I'm very thankful to have all of my christmas shipping done 2 weeks before Halloween this year. That is a huge load off my mind.

Wow 61st anniversary?! Thats sooo nice to hear! Congrats to them.
The tops 3 things I am thankful for are:
My healthy 20 month old who is amazing
My boyfriend who is wonderful
We were able to buy a house this year (as tough as it was)
I used to hate these holidays, all the stress, running around, stretching yourself in every direction, then you have to deal with those few mean people at the mall. LOL...but the last few years I have tried to keep remembering what it's all about, and it keeps my stress level down and enjoy the holidays. Stuff like this post only reinforces that for me. So thank you for posting this! =)

SO MANY THINGS ! My son and my husband! Our health ! the fact we both have good jobs in a time when others do not. Roof over our heads, food on the table, beds to sleep in, clothes to keep us warm. God Bless the Troops (and their family's) for all they do for us ! that is something I myself know I could Never do - SO I'm thankful there are stronger men and women out there who do their job so we are able to keep the lifestyle we have. Family, friends, pets.... the list is never ending. I know I'm one lucky chic and DO thank my lucky stars ALL THE TIME.
