ok, maybe I have overlooked something on the bottle besides the fact not to feed it to children... how do you use it?? mind you i am huge into biodegradable soaps etc but the workout laundry at my house stinks and it over takes the whole load... these little flakes, do you use them with fabric softener or do they take the place of fabric softener?? Thanks mamas!

What can I do next?

Well I'm glad you got your answer. I just hope to NEVER, EVER be standing in line next to someone that's using these. It makes me want to vomit to even think of it.

Take the place of.

I love them...because the smell lasts sooo much longer.....and you dont have to use alot in each load...so a thing of them will last me like two months.

I wont lie..The smell is something that is of acquired taste....and they can be strong if you use to many.

The Seventh Generation stuff is AMAZING....It is the second choice for me..for Fabric softener.

I like them. You pour them in with your laundry before you start the washer. It does not take much but I think they leave a fresh clean scent. Its more pleasant than fabric sheets and this will definately last longer. They cost about 7.00 but I think it will last a month or two. Obviously if you use too much they do leave a strong scent. Less is more in this case.

I found out the hard way that a little of these goes a long way. I had a sample pack of Unstoppables I got on a bottle of Tide at the store and my husband's cycling clothes really reak, so decided to use it. The scent was so strong that my son had an asthma attack from breathing it. I immediately rewashed the clothes. I line dry clothes in my basement and the scent wafted as they dried. After the second wash, all I smelled was clean and that funky athletic smell was gone. So I little is what it takes.

For workout clothes I wash them separately and use tide HE. The one that is in made for work out clothes. (tide sport). For some reason the biodegradable soaps do not work on my work out clothes.

I'm with SLM. If it's scented, I will probably become nauseated, headachy and dizzy if I have to stand too close to it. I frequently have give up my place in line when people wearing cologne or perfume or fabric softeners get close to me.

I've tried asking them to give me some space, but they tend to become outraged. So I leave and try again after they've finished their checkout, banking, whatever. One time it took me 3 tries and over 50 minutes to be able to finish my banking. And I still went home with a sick headache.
