JFF - Who's Prettier?

Some people like ochra. I don't. I've eaten it a LOT of different ways and in many different states. I still despise the stuff. I love a good steak. Not every one likes steak. Some folks are morally opposed to steak. Still, I like steak flash grilled rare. Compare ochra to steak? I'm going to choose steak.

Set ochra by itself or next to (almost) any other food? Still not going to pick ochra.

Same goes for these two. I think Angelina Jolie is fantastic (she'd be the steak in this analogy). And...well...Jennifer Aniston is like cold ochra to my eye. Not just compared to steak but compared to any food really.

I'm pretty embarrassed that I actually have big feelings and opinions on this subject. But I do. ;-)

I think Aniston is gorgeous as the "girl next door" type, and I also think Jolie is gorgeous, but in a more seductive and exotic way. Aniston does have a more bubbly and humorous personality, and Jolie is somewhat more serious and has a darker humor. But, I truly like both of them, and I like their differences. Thank goodness for diversity, or Hollywood would be BORING! LOL...

I think Angelina Jolie is very pretty. I just don't like that girl. It's super judgemental of me and totally out of character. I know it's wrong, but I just can't get past the whole "adulteress" thing. And then there was an interview she did about how great it was falling in love with Pitt, about how she couldn't wait to get to work, knowing she was going to see him. I thought it was totally classless, considering the fact that he was very publicly married to another woman at the time. It was like rubbing salt in the wound. You got the man, do you really need to get the glory?

I think Jennifer Aniston is also very pretty, but I like her more. She continually handles herself with class.

I don't think I have ever seen a movie Jolie was in, and I don't care to watch her.

I like Jennifer Aniston better, but I'm sure it's only because I loved Rachel on Friends.

One of my favorite quotes lately is from Doctor Who, when Old Amy met Young Amy and they were talking about Rory (Amy's Husband).

I can't be the only one, who thinks Jolie looks like an alien!! I think she is SO unattractive, physically. And, you know...I can't have any respect for a cheater. So, that makes her ugly.

I don't particularly feel moved when people who have money out the wazoo give. People who have little, and still struggle to give...that is where the love is. It's easy to throw money at charities when you're rich and famous, and it helps your career. People who give when they have almost nothing, and want no attention, they move me. I'm not moved by any celebrities "charity."

I dunno I think they are both so different it's hard to compare them.
Aniston always plays the "good girl" Jolie plays the more adventurous roles.
I prefer the more adventerous roles a, Aniston just annoys me. So "who's pretty?" I dunno lol Aniston is cute Jolie is sexy. totally different pretty.

I have always heard Jennifer Aniston is High Maintenance..
And not in a good way..

But who knows?.. I tend to think attractiveness is based on the persons personality way more than their physical beauty.

Angelina Jolies looks aloof, but she sure does a lot of charity work and donates a tremendous amount of money to her causes. She is out there doing something she really believes in. They were here while Brad Pitt was filming and everybody was saying they were both, very down to earth and very devoted to their children and loved to ask about other peoples children..

An over weight dad who is always smiling and proud of his children always there to pitch in, who openly hugs or kisses his kids in public, is way more attractive to me than the fit dad with perfect hair who drives up and pats his kids on the back as a greeting and talks on his cell phone the whole time at a child's event.

Angelina Jolie has a mouth that makes men think of blow jobs so that's why men think she's hot!

I am totally with you. I think Angelina is very ugly with her nasty, fat injected lips. There is nothing natural about her and the fact that she is a husband stealer makes her even more unattractive to me. I refuse to watch any of her movies...oh, and lets not forget how she made out with her brother and used to wear her ex husband's blood in a vial around her neck- CREEPY!
I like Jennifer Anniston and I think she is very pretty, but I tend to think people who are more natural and haven't had any "work" done are prettier than those who have.

they are both equally pretty.......different looks. Jolie is exotic looking, aniston is a classic beauty.

I think they're both very attractive, but Aniston is more traditionally pretty, and Jolie is more strikingly attractive. My high school students tell me all the time that I look like Jolie, which I don't see at all. My husband says that, too, but I think it's just wishful thinking on his part. ;) Then again, I think he looks just like Alec Baldwin. :) After reading some of these posts, it may not be a compliment to be told one looks like Jolie.

ETA: You know what's funny (or sad for us older moms), neither of them made the top 100 beautiful women list this year. I don't keep up with this stuff, but it really bugged my husband that neither of them made the list. Apparently if you're over 40 you don't make the cut. That was in Maxim magazine.

I NEVER thought Jennifer Aniston is pretty. In fact, I don't think she is as special of an actress to get all the attention she gets. She definitely has a nice trim figure, but her face is not pretty to me at all. Yes, I find Angelina Jolie much prettier. She's got WAY more of a sexy factor going, too. And those curves of hers!

But, all that doesn't matter:)

I too only know what I see on the front of the mags (according to them, they're still fighting over Brad usually-yeah right) I've seen like one of each of their movies on planes. Most dudes like Jennifer Aniston for the hot bod and funny personality-sounds like your husband has elegant taste! Angelina Jolie could be a supermodel if she wasn't an actress. She's got that gaunt exotic thing going on rather than the preppy thing.

I do notice on the mags that HATE Jolie and always say she's up to something psycho, that they also accentuate her photos with black lines to make her look like a praying mantis. Look carefully sometime. Side by side on the same red carpet, Brad will be in normal diffused daylight, and Jolie will have a severe black jaw shadow and black lines around veins in her neck. Photoshop gone awry in the hands of jealous chubby graphic design interns in my opinion.

Neither of them are my type. To me the most gorgeous female out there these days is the french actress Marion Cotillard -- she puts them both to shame.

I think Angelina's lips are real, though. She just began the trout-pout fad.

I say Jolie. My husband is in love with jennifer aniston. What people do in their private lives isn't my business, but sexy and hotness wise? Angelina no doubt!

Both are ugly in my book. I think they both are too into themselves and their looks. I personally think one of the most beautiful people in this world is : Mya Angeleu. (sp) Beautiful poet, loving woman, giving person.

I think they're both attractive, but I find Anniston far prettier. If I had to choose a celebrity to look like, it would be her.

Jennifer Aniston UGLY!!! WHAT!!! I think they are both beautiful in a different way. I do think Angelina Jolie is an extremely giving and devoted mother, and gives to many many charities so I guess that gives her a deeper beauty to me. I think Jennifer Aniston, is not only pretty, but she is funny and cute in the movies she makes. I wouldn't mind looking like either one lol!!

Jennifer Aniston looks more down to earth and natural...Angelina looks more exotic and glamorous. It's really all very subjective anyway. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."

They both score really high on the symmetry scale (the more symmetrical a person's face is the more beautiful other people find them).... which makes them both beautiful.

But I can't stand JA, and love AJ. :D Which has nothing to do with how pretty either one is. It has to do with me'own personal 'type'.

This is just going on what I have seen, because I don't actually know them....Aniston by far.
My best guy friend LOVES Jennifer Aniston. He said that Angelina Jolie reminded him of one of those stuck up chicks in highschool, where as Jennifer would be the the type to be friends with everyone. LOL.
My boyfriend just told me Aniston. He said guys only like Angelina because of her lips, and he thinks Aniston is better looking overall.

I like Aniston, thinking her smile, tan, hair, and just everyday beauty is great. Jolie: she's been in some movies where you think "hark, she's hot" and other times I'm like "ewww, how many diseases?" But her "hot" look isn't an everyday or all day thing. She's even said before how she fasts and does colonics and wraps before an event (gross and so unhealthy). Sometimes she's stunning, but a just got out of bed or hanging out around the house with no makeup looks, Jen would beat out Jolie in just straight looks I would think.
I remember when she was young and had decent lips, but then started plumping them up. There was a period where her lips were cracking and "popping" that was pretty disgusting to me. My husband thought big lips were cool UNTIL that happened and he just got totally grossed out also. And there were the drug days with Thornton which she was really gross. There's too much "mess" that is too easy to see (not saying Jen is normal or great, but at least the mess isn't just bubbling all over). And yeah---there's purposely going after the married man that really took her down a few (hundred) notches. My husband likes Charlize Theron though. I like Kate Winslet best right now......still. And also Cate Blanchett. (Cate might not be the "normal" beauty, but I love how she carries herself, and the confidence and strength she shows in her roles).

I like Jennifer also. My husband doesn't like Jolie and likes Jennifer. I think that perhaps it is because Jennifer's heart and soul comes through or at least the roles she is playing.

My granddaughter and I had this conversation over her liking someone who was mean on tv just because she was prettier then the nice girl. I told her that when someone is nice on the inside, she will start to look nice on the outside too when you get to know them, and someone who isn't nice on the inside will start to look not as pretty on the outside as people get to know them so it is so important to be nice on the inside. Jolie is pretty but I think that so many are upset over some of her behavior that they don't see the pretty as much.

Fun question! And I actually brought this up to my boyfriend. I said "who would you rather...Jen or Angelina?" And he said Angelina. He said she has the sex appeal that Jen doesn't. I, however, would pick Jen. She's down to earth and seems fun. Angelina seems like a slutty prude. Ha ha!!

Ok I am late, but the Jolie-Pitt Aniston saga comes up in convo occasionally in my life ;) So I think they are both very pretty actually. My husband things that Jolie is just hideous. He says the alien thing. I think she is stunning, like a work of art or something, she looks different than a lot of people, my husband agrees(see his previous alien position ;) My best friend thinks Jolie is gorgeous and Aniston is just totally regular. I think that Aniston is very pretty, that Jolie is gorgeous but a home wrecker and that Pitt should have married an off the beaten path hippie instead of an all american beauty the first time around if that's what he wanted ;) So there you go, now I have said my peace and the world seems to still be spinning :D

Without thinking I probably would have said Jennifer is prettier. But actually, if I think about it, it is because I think she is more likable. If I really try to be objective, I can see the beauty and the flaws of each. Jennifer has a funny chin if you look, and a funny nose, and squinty eyes sort of. Angelina has man arms, and her lips just look wrong really. But then if you look at the whole picture with an open mind they are both really gorgeous in the end. I really think your personal feelings about someone have a huge influence on how attractive you find them.
