I've had a few DUH moments this week, I know i am quirky, but geeze!! Please let me know I am not the only one!!
Example:
Looking for my phone before leaving for work, can't find it, co-worker asked "what are you looking for"
I said "my phone!! I can't find it!!"
She asked "what are you talking to me on"
DUH!!! MY CELL PHONE!!!!
I've looked for glasses that were sitting on my head, and many many more. LOL

So please share, have any of y'all had such moments where your star didn't shine so bright?? LOL

What can I do next?

This week I did the Parking Garage Walk of Shame.
You know, when you *kind of* remember the floor you parked on?
Then--nope---down a floor--nope---up 2 floors----ARGHHH!

Spent ages looking for my car in the parking lot of the grocery store. Panicked. About to call the cops and report it stolen. Remembered my husband and I switched cars for the day. There it was, right where I'd parked it.

Not my sharpest moment.

Exactly the same cell phone issue. I was on the phone w DH asking whether he had seen it. Fortunately it's hard to misplace contact lenses.

My husband! This was probably a year ago. We pulled into a parking lot at this store. I told me husband to go in and get bread and chips or whatever at the time. He walks up to the door of the store, stops and walks back to the car. He opens the car door and I asked what? "There's a sign on the door saying no food or drinks inside." He said. I honestly thought he was messing with me. Lol. Honey, they mean do not bring food or drink inside of the ststore

Too many to admit to! I like to think of them as "senior moments." The other day I was running around looking for my sunglasses - which were in my hand! Just about an hour ago I was searching high and low for my stapler which was on my desk right where it belongs!

I know I had one the other day-- but for the life of me, I can't remember what it was. I just remember that "D'oh!" feeling. ;) Still having it, apparently!

I had one today. I had a towel just slightly damp but my sil was washing. She had gone out so I figured I would throw it in for a few minutes to dry. Well, I heard her come in so I went down to get the towel. She had put her clothes to dry already. I thought she had not seen the towel and was looking through the clothes for it. It was gone. I was thinking what did she do with it? It was right there on top of the dryer.

You ladies with your faulty brains, honestly. I have never misplaced or misremembered anything.

Hey, why is everybody laughing? Oh, yeah, OK, there was that ONE time when I drove away from a gas station and left my 7yo daughter in the restroom. But hey, that was over 30 years ago, and she recovered from the trauma completely.

(These are so funny – thanks for a great question!)
