JFF: Does Your Guy like Capri Pants?

Me: Do you like capri pants?
Husband: Do I like capri pants?
Me: yeah
Husband: yeah

There you have it. He also said he likes shirts that show my boobs. lol

Me: Husband do you like capris?
Husband (completely puzzled): Capris?
Me: Yes Capris?
H: The Pants?
Me: Yes.
H: on Me?
Me: Yes on you! No on me.
H: Yeah they look good on you.

Now that I think about it my husband has never said "wow, those capris look sexy on you today".
Sigh

Me: Do you like capris?
Him: you mean manpris? Hell no!
Me: No no no! Capris on me!
Him: oh, you mean your knickers?
Me: um, yeah, I guess.
Him: Yeah, if you like them then I do.

LOLOLOL you're joking right? My husband wouldn't know capri's if they landed on him. If I asked him about capris, he'd probably look for a salad...LOLOLOL

I think men only hate the loose ones that taper in at the bottom-and who can blame them ? I doubt if they saw a hot chick in tight capris and good heals that they'd be thinking "She'd be cute if her pants were longer" :)

But as for most capris.....they are pretty frumpy unless you really get the rest of the outfit right. If you put a clumpy shoe or Crocs at the bottom, forget it it. No men will like it.

Once I bought a denim pair on super sale at American Eagle Outfitters because it was way too humid for pants but I hate shorts....my husband liked my butt in them, but they had that standard college girl butt that all their jeans have. He HATES capris usually.

Does it really matter? It's my body I will wear what I want to wear.

I find it so funny that women won the right to make choices about our bodies concerning abortion, contraception ect but we still worry about what men will say about what we wear or our hairstyles.

Hahahahahaha!!!! I know you weren't talking about men actually WEARING capris, but this struck me funny. :) I think men would much prefer women wearing capris after seeing this photo. :)

My husband has never, ever, ever made comments either for or against capri pants.

Some fashion "experts" say that they are big no-no's, because they make the legs look shorter, but I have a 34" inseam, so I don't care--I can afford to lose a few inches--I don't like sweaty legs.

he HATES them with a passion.

He does not like them on women (or men for that matter and yes we have seen this)

But I wear them anyway! I love them.

ETA: I asked him once if I looked ok...his reply was "Yes but you know you have on CAPRIS!"

My husband likes anything tight that shows off my butt and legs.
I have some tight capris that do that,
and some not so tight capris (more like short cargo pants) that don't.
He definitely prefers the former :)

Ok, guys and capris....

You know how some young guys wear their pants really low on their hips, some so loose they have to hold them with one hand? We live in a hot climate, so most of the time those guy are wearing shorts. So, what ends up happening is that the shorts are so low, they look like capris!

Hubby and I always snicker when we see these guys, acting so tough, walking with a swagger - and wearing what amounts to capris! It's so damn funny!

To answer your original question, I have no idea. Hubby has never mentioned liking or disliking them - do guys really notice and care about such things?

I don't think he has an opinion on them, or even knows what they are. I, though, don't like them. I have a few pairs, just for variety, but I'm really short and I think they make me look dumpy. They always look so pretty on the tall, thin models. I think I'm doing something wrong...

My husband doesn't know a thing about fashion, but he actually gave me his opinion on capri pants one time without being prompted. Just out of nowhere he said "What's the deal with those pants? I don't know any guy who thinks those look good!" My brother-in-law chimed in with agreement. I asked them what about them they didn't like, but they didn't know--"We just don't like them."

It was a very surreal conversation . . .

Funny question...yes, my husband hates them. I really think he'd like it if I wore ankle length skirts every day, but, um no....but he prefers pants over shorts or capris.

my fiance likes the ones that are tight all the way down your legs.. the ones that are like a little baggy or the ones that flair out a little he thinks are reall dumb.. also if they end a little below my knees theyre good.. if theyre the kind that go all the way down the my ankles he thinks theyre stupid and ill have to hear (from him&myfather) .. are you expecting a flood today??

I have no idea how he felt about capri pants. I never asked him. I wear them because I like them and he knew that if I didn't ask his opinion, his opinion was irrelevant so he didn't offer it.

Yes, my husband loves them on me---He says they flatter my tush. :)

I have not verified this but, I'm pretty sure it's not something my hubby has ever thought about lol.

I have no idea whether my husband knows what Capris are, but I do know he hates them and calls them my "high waters." I laughed when I read your question, because it's about the only thing in my wardrobe (besides low cut shirts) that he has an opinion about.

Too bad! I love them in the summer, and I much prefer them over shorts, so he's just going to have to deal!

Like anything ... it depends on the style and how it is all put together.

My husband hates them. I've tried on a few pairs for him and he thinks they look silly so I've never bought them. He'll even point capris out on other women and express the opinion that the woman would be cute if she just wore some regular pants or shorts.

i seriously doubt he could care less. although, come to think of it, the positive comments i get here and there have never revolved around capris...lol.

are we talking things they hate on women? I went back and forth on this one! lol but I think she may have been right about how they look on women most men dont like them much depending on how you are putting it together, if I do them with a conservative look that is sleek and classy and a little dressy then its ok with my man, but some capri blue jeans or sweats and he is totally turned off by the soccer mom look! no matter how comfortable it is for me!
But if we are talking european men! Hell they wear the doggone things themselves! forget what the woman looks like! it always cracked me up to see the males when i was over there taking a stroll through the park holding their woman's hand in their tight capri pants that accented the fact that they had no butt to keep them up properly in the back! lol the vision is making me chuckle now! and the sweater tied around the neck or waist did not help the "U.S. fashon no no" either!

I love capris - on me.

I think actual capris for men look dorky on guys, unless their rock climbing. However, there's not much different in length between their baggy cargo shorts and capris. Only the width is different.

It looks like the answers are region dependent. When I lived in SoCalif and AZ the only thing I wore were capris due to the warm weather, and sweating on the seats if I was in shorts, and being too hot in long pants, and unable to ride my bike to school with kids. Capris were the perfect length for everything in warm weather.

Every time I wear mine, my hubby has some funny remark to make. I don't know if he HATES them, but he thinks they look funny.
