I know it's a bit to the north for you, but I've been thru this twice & my tax accountant is AMAZING! His name is Vince Argy & he is in Fountain Valley (just off the 405) his number is ###-###-####. My sister owns her own business & he has done amazing work for her too! Good luck in this stressful situation. & don't forget to communicate with the IRS. Make sure you call to tell them you are hiring someone to take care of this for you before your deadline!

Dear K., don't worry. Your accountant should go with you. Give he /she the audit notice. If it was your husbands then his accountant should with you. Let which ever accountant you used have the notice fro the IRS. If you did your taxes yourself you can go in but I would not recommend it. Here is a great company who saved me $75,000.00. They do not have to be in your home town. Please call Marcia Davis @ MKD Servies ###-###-#### ASAP! She and her staff have been in business for over 30 years and are the greatest. She use to work for the IRS and knows all the ends and outs and either she or one of her staff memebers will go with you. Some times she can handle it from her office. I'm telling you she is fantastic! She is reasonable and good. I have used her for over 15 years and gladly pay what ever her fee's are. Explain you were referred by Patty -Bowman-Mechling and you have a IRS audit.
