I have not been to the State Fair in many years. Does anyone happened to know how many ride tickets the ferris wheel take?

What can I do next?

I just heard this morning that there are some price increases this year. The concession/ride tickets are cheaper if you buy them online vs. at the fair. https://your-ticket-order.com/statefairoftexas/ But for some reason they don't post the # of tickets needed per ride on the bigtex.com website.

I don't remember how many tickets it was, but last year it cost us about $24 for 4 of us to ride the ferris wheel. We went on the food pantry day when admission was like $1 so it all evened out. Also, we always ride it right at sunset. Downtown looks really neat then. Have fun!

I am not familiar with exact tickets for certain rides. We go yearly and LOVE it.

Check out the website for the State Fair at www.bigtex.com

You might be able to get the information from the site. I know I check the calendar on that site to plan when we go.

Enjoy!

I went on bigtex.com and couldn't find any info on the rides. E-mail them and hope to hear back. When we went 4 years ago it was $7 each but I'm sure they have increased the price. We are in Melissa too and get to go this year because they get a fair day! Yea! My kids are 7 and 4.
