Hi everyone,

I have heard that Dr Lepetich is a good OB/GYN to go to but I don't really know much about him or his office and the other Doctors there. Does anyone know or have any experience with him and his office that you would like to share. I'm thinking of getting pregnant and had complication in the past so I would like to go somewhere where the doctors will work with me and where there are specialists but I also want to know about your experiences delivering your baby with this Doctor as well as the people at his office. Also... if you know of a better Doctor who are in the South East Valley (Gilbert) area, feel free to recommend and give me your experiences. I live near the new Gilbert Hospital on the new 202 so I would prefer to deliver there so if you have also delivered there, please share your experiences.

Thanks in advance,

V.

Dr Lepetich delivered my two boys (11 & 2 yrs old), my first pregnancy was the perfect pregnancy and delivery..... and my second baby was premature and I went into the hospital @ 29 weeks !!! He is a good dr....pretty basic but was great with my premature son & did a great job making the right decisions for him!!! He is today a thriving wonderful 2 yr old little boy with no complications!!
Good Luck with whoever you choose!!

Hi,
I have not seen Dr. Lepetich in the office however he did deliver 2 out of my 3 children :)(due to the on call rotation) I have however gone to Dr. Alperin and Dr. Damore both have been wonderful. They are very easy to talk to and easy to get in touch with if there is a problem. I am not sure about if they have specialist but i am sure that they have something in place for complicated pregnancy. I do know they only deliver @ Banner Desert. But Banner Desert has a childrens hospital in it so if your baby has complications that is the best place to be. Hope this information is helpful.

Sorry I don't know about Dr. Lepetich. I have Goodman & Partridge, with Dr. Rowan at the Power Rd location. The only thing is that your doctor may not deliver you at Mercy Gilbert nor Chandler Regional. Find out for sure about that if you're more comfortable with it. I found out my doc won't be delivering me since she is transferring to a new hospital on Crismon & 60. Supposively there are G&P docs that rotate at Chandler Regional but I don't know for sure and will find out next week. Dr. Jew (pronounced Joe) is the delivering doctor at Mercy Gilbert (recommended by Dr. Rowan) and I think he's the lead physician there.

Take a tour at both locations, I'm told by friends and nurses there that most of the staff is either from Chandler Regional or St. Joseph's Hospital part of the CHW network. I've done Mercy Gilbert already..LDP all in one room. Eventually PPT will be in another wing or building. I am touring Chandler Regional next week and will ask more questions there.

My previous delivery experience was at Kaiser in Calif and thereafter found out that I had a rare heart shaped uterus, caused hemmorhage, blood transfusion, iron pills and HIV testing which is negative. Thank gawd. I got moved to 4 different rooms.

So I spoke to two prenatal instructors and one of them directed me to the Director of Maternal Health, she called me and she recommended I speak to both my OB and staff at Chandler Regional to get a better understanding. Granted Mercy Gilbert is still new and based on a friend's delivery in Nov, she was a textbook pregnancy (her words) but her son had fluid caught in his lungs and he was not rushed immediately but did get airlifted to Banner Desert Hospital. She thinks if they acted quickly then he would have been in NICU for 4 weeks.

Some people have told me that perhaps I should deliver at Banner Desert because of my high risk situation. But it will depend on my insurance company and such. But I've had 3 people tell me that they've had good results at Chandler Regional.

I'm so far looking more towards CR because they also have a pediatric unit there and can help without transferring to another hospital. And it is not necesarily that MG will transfer you or baby to another CHW hospital.

Good Luck!
