I so I am due in 4 weeks and have been having painful Braxton Hick's contractions for over a week. I get the all the time. Last weekend my husband mentioned that I looked like the baby had droped and I have also noticed that I can breath a little easier.Ok here comes the gross part last night after my husband and I had sex he said that he it felt like the baby was sitting lower and he could like feel the baby. Whell this frecked me out so when I was taking I shower later I wanted to know what he was talking about and I felt someting hard in there about a inch long maybe feels like a stick covered in skin. I know this is very weird and really gross but has anyone every heard about this or does anyone have any idea what this maybe. I am still feeling the baby move and kick all the time but I am also still haveing the very painful Braxton Hicks I have mentioned them to my doctor but he just tells me to drink water or take a bath that I am suppose to have them. I do drink the water and take the baths and it really dosnt help very much but feeling something sticking out downthere is really freaking me out. TIA Sorry so much personal info.

What can I do next?

I had the same thing happen it felt like my son was right between my legs when it was a week before the due date. It felt like I could feel his head right on the tip of coming out. But I was fine actually my son was not born until after his due date. But just to be careful u should talk to your ob doctor.

the last time my husband and I had sex before our son was born, my husband said he thought he could feel something different. I thought he was just making it up. I asked my doctor and once she examined me, she told me that yes, he probably was feeling our son. needless to say, we didn't have sex again until after our son was born, but not a big deal, it was just 1-2 days...

Goodness, I have never heard of this but I think you should go see your doctor asap. If your doc isnt available I would go to urgent care. Good luck.

Could it be the cord? You should go get checked by your Dr.

I would suggest that the stick in your coochie, besides your husbands *stick* (LOL) is the baby's arm or leg or foot or elbow. there is nothing else up there to feel like that. i would think that the uterus is stretched a little thinner as the baby grows and the space is getting a little cramped in there. so it makes sense that he can feel "more" stuff. i would not be alarmed, i would pester my doctor a little bit just to be on the safe side. but if he is not worried then i would relax a bit. OOHHH!!! and no swinging from the chandelier.
