I am looking for other mom websites to advertise a free parent(s) event. I have contacted mamapedia but they have not gotten back to me. So do any of you wonderful mom belong to other mom websites? If so could I post a free event? I posted on craigslist as suggested by one mom on this site but I am looking to reach a large pool of parent(s) that might be interested. Please help......this is a worthwhile event and it's FREE!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I apologize if it wasn't clear but it has to be LA based that is where the meeting is.

wikimamas.com (this is a new site that is replacing the former citymommy site if you were familiar with that one)

There is a yahoo group called Peachhead with thousands of LA moms, but I know they have some restrictions about what can be posted. If your post is considered an ad, they won't accept it (even if it's a free event). You can try it though. worst case scenario is they pull the post down.

You can also contact some LA-based meetup.com groups (you can send a message without being a member) and try cafemom.com

You can probably also find some facebook groups.

Thanks!

www.losangeles.parenthood.com is the website for L.A. Parent Magazine. They post a digital version of their print edition. If you haven't already, you should contact them yet to find out what it takes to get an event listed in their calendar section.

Oaklee's Guide. They have a website too. It's read by TONS of moms who want to find events for their kids. Their guides are found all over daycares and schools, that is how popular this site is.

Perhaps visit meetup.com and search for mom groups, then e-mail them with your info?
