I kickboxed for five years and loved it.

Wish I could still do it. I ruined my knee and shoulder doing it. Perhaps taking a DAY off once in a while would have been SMART?!

This so called anxiety disorder is usually lack of B Vitamins, and /or mirco minerals. You're not missing a drug-- you are missing some nutrient- WestonPrice.com is the best reference, and the cook book Nourshing Traditions. This is not JUST about size 1, this is about your health, ability to take care of your little one. But it will also help you get into those ones!
Best, K

I once took a fitness boxing class taught by an ex-boxer. It was AMAZING exercise and fun too. We did a circuit like boxers do...I think it was 2 minutes at each station (but maybe 3). I got in great shape. I should take a class like that again!

I'm training for a black belt in Karate so punching is a part of our workouts. Like others have said, tell the instructor it's your first time, take breaks when you need them, and be prepared for sore muscles. Pay attention to technique, a good instructor should help you with that.

It IS fun, though. I find that punching and kicking is great for getting emotion out, along with a great cardio and muscle workout all in one!

Do you have gloves, or do they provide them? You'll want decent gloves.

Yep its fun. You would be surprised at what you can do. Just tell them its your first time and you havent worked out in awhile. LOTS of stretching, you will be working out muscles that you dont often. It will be good to have a friend there too.
