Has Your Week Been Crazy Too?

Mine too - especially with the weather situation. We thought Irene was headed straight at us on Tuesday, so I ran around like a crazy woman buying $75 worth of can foods & snacks. Well now that it's not hitting SC, I can breathe a sigh of relief, but not until I have fulfilled my volunteering duties at school for the PTO! And on top of that I drove to dance, Brownies, and preschool orientation. Whew!

I don't live near the Hurricane but I said earlier that this has been the worst week ever. Possible the worst month ever ; - (...hopefully it wll get better for you. I really hope the hurricane isn't as bas as they say it's gonna be.

My week was so insane I can't even write it out :)

Let's see. Last Sunday we came home from visiting my in laws in PA. It had rained heavily while we were gone and flooded. Had to rip up carpet, shop vac, etc etc etc. Then Monday night my 3 and 5 yos had stayed behind, sleeping over my in laws in PA and the 3 yo hurt her arm. Seemed OK and went to bed. MIL drove the kids home Tues. I spent ALL DAY Tues first to the ped, then sent for Xrays then sent to orthopedist. She broke her elbow. Got a cast, all that drama. Friday we had my daughters' bday party at the house, TONS of work. I guess these events were more than just this week but still. Grrr. Monday I'm going back to work after 4 months maternity leave. I will be in for half days and doing a babysitting swap with my next door neighbor so in addition to working, I will come home from 2 - 7 to care for 5 KIDS!!! AAAH!!!
The following week kid 1 goes back to school, week after that kid 2 goes back to school.....

My week has been awful. I'm too upset to write about it. : ( and tired.

It has been INSANE! Horribly frantic and disjointed and just crazy. I can't wait for it to be done!

Mine has been very similar (with the exception of the weather). New job for me, new responsibilities for my husband, older son off to kindergarten, younger son to daycare ...

... I'm exhausted! Is it Friday yet?

My boys started school this week. At 4pm the day before school started, they had some sort of panic attack that they needed new clothes for school immediately. Lol! They had all summer to do this but decided just then they had to go. Both of them have spent two days trying to get their schedules adjusted and have had to go to cross country practice as well. We also took my older son to get a barrage of tests at the pulmonologist, because he decided to up and get exercise induced asthma out of the blue. My husband has been fighting his former employer over not getting paid and them causing problems with insurance. Oh, yea, and the cat came down with ear mites. And we still have the weekend to go.....
