Mamas & Papas-

Recently re-potted a Kalanchoe and snipped the spent flowers. It is putting out new buds, and at the same time, some of the old leaves are yellowing/ browning, and withering. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
F. B.

Yellow leaves can be overwatering, or a nitrogen deficiency. I think this plant is rather drought tolerant, so it's probably overwatering.

one of the best thing i've done for my houseplants is to get some of those pretty glass watering bulbs. the plants drink as much as they want, and all i have to do is remember to check and refill the bulbs when needed (which is a PITA but they're so goof-proof and lovely to look at they're worth it.)

My first thought was also over-watering.
