Any suggestions for great shoes? Gabby is a daycare baby and i always send her to daycare barefoot or in socks... more barefoot then anything bc she is starting to walk and the dr said it's great for them to learn to walk barefooted. Anyway she is going to start to transition to the toddler room and they said shoes are a must! help!

What can I do next?

I like the pediped, they make some really cute ones that look like regular shoes but soft soled with a thin rubber tred for no skid. Target also makes a immatation version for about $15, they are in the shoe department. You can also luck out and find pediped or robeez at stores like Ross, TJ Maxx and Marshalls. Good luck!

I asked this exact question a few months ago and ended up getting over 20 replies! I went with Robeez and also Target has a generic version for about $12.99 called "Mini Stars". I was happy with both, and my dd easily transitioned into shoes after a few months in those. :)

My daughters both loved Pedipeds - they were so easy to get on and they stayed on. I also just discovered Rileyroos and they too are great. (Just a side note, I've noticed both run large. My 12mos old easily fits in a 6-12 mos size in both brands.)

Robeez!! This is the ONLY shoe my toddler can't or doesn't want to pull off. I received them as a gift with my first child and used them from infancy to 2+ yrs. They have new styles that go beyond the original (and awesome) soft soled line. You could get the sandals, since summer is coming. Best wishes to you!
