Hey Mamas,
I would like advice on an efficient way to remove the "fuzzy sweaters" that come from build up of dust on the slats of blinds. I do not want to take the blinds down (for fear of somehow breaking the pieces holding them up.) Any suggestions?
Thanks!
A.

So What Happened?

Thanks for the great tips! I actually used Melaleuca Tough & Tender wipes because that is what I had and it worked like a charm!

I do the same thing TF does except that I use Clorox wipes instead of baby wipes. It takes forever, but it works well.

I use the same method as the others, but I use a bucket or container of hot water mixed with cleaning solution (409, etc) and a washcloth. Its easy, and the windows look and smell clean...also you don't waste wipes.

I have 2" wooden blinds and I KNOW what you are talking about.

I clean mine with babywipes I get from Costco. Yes, I wipe down each and every slat but I don't have to do it that often.

If I am in a SUPER hurry, I'll use the brush attachment from mt vac but it is only a quickie... just get by fast job.
