I have frozen chicken quarters (leg and thigh attached) that I want to cook tonight for dinner. How long and at what temp should I bake? Thanks!

Ive never baked chicken from a frozen state. I'd thaw it first by putting the package in the sink with cold water, it should thaw in about an hour. I'd go to a cooking website like allrecipes.com or something to find a recipe for baking in order to get your time and temp right. My guess would be 325 for about an hour tho if thawed..... it really depends on what exactly you are doing with the chicken.

It's really hard to 'bake' frozen chicken like that. The outsides will dry out long before the meat next to the bone is cooked. If you have time (three or four hours), I would stick them in a crockpot on HIGH with 1/4 cup water. When they are done, drain the yuck, and then stick them on an aluminum foil wrapped cookie sheet, baste with BBQ, and Broil for 5 minute or so (till the bbq starts to sizzle.) I'm sorry I don't have anything quick or better than that!

I too put the chicken in a bowl of cold water but I let cold spigot water continually drizzle into the bowl which is in the sink. Depending on the size of the legs and thighs it probably won't take too much longer than 15-20 minutes to thaw.
