Can any one recommend a great dr at the FW Pediatrics -southwest location? There's so many working there I don't know who to try to get in with. Or any to try to avoid?

What can I do next?

i think they are all pretty good, i know they are pretty popular. if you are not set on fw peds, i absolutely love love love my ped. she is in the same area (just one more exit down 20) her name is dr stephanie perdue. i think she is wonderful, she really pays attention to what you have to say, she takes her time with you and i have never had a problem getting in the same day when we have had a problem.

Dr. Ray Rhodes was my children's pediatrician and is now my daughter's children's pediatrician. Highly recommend him. All the doctors we have seen there are good.
We usually don't have to wait long in the waiting room, either.

We use Dr. Tamara Hayward. We love her, she is great. She works part time and her partner works with her. So if you go on a day that she isn't there you get her partner. Most of the time we get Dr. Hayward. However, there has been an advantage, you get another set of eyes on your child. My child had 4 ear infections and eventually had to have ear tubes put in. It was a good feeling knowing that they were working together and have the same feelings/beliefs on medicine,etc..

I interviewed Dr. Hayward and Dr. Mark Jones and another Dr. at the other Fort Worth Pediatrics. I wanted to check out all of the offices and the environment there. I liked the Southwest location best, cause the office environment has the play gym, more toys,etc... I would suggest scheduling an appointment to meet with Dr. Hayward or another Dr. there. That way you can meet them, get a feel for them and get any important questions/answers from the Dr. I liked Dr. Jones as well, however there wasn't many toys in the office and I prefered more toys in the waiting room.

I haven't heard any complaints about any of the Dr.'s there. I would schedule to talk with a few of the Dr.'s there and then you pick which one you feel most comfortable with.
