I don't think she is doing this to irritate you! she just found her nose and wants to pick at it.. Just wait until she finds out she's got shoes and un-ties them every 5 minutes
What is the best way for me to get my 2 year old to stop putting her fingers in her nose? It seems like she does it to irritate me(mainly when I am looking at her).

Im with lisa! just stop making a big deal out of it and she wont do it. she is just trying to get a rise out of you and sounds like she is wanting your attention. bad attention is as good as any as far as their concerned!
My advice, which has worked for me in the past on other issues, is to simply ignore it, if it doesn't get her your attention she will quit doing it.
My 21 month old started doing that. I have tissues standing by..LOL I would see her do that, and I would offer her a tissue and tell her to blow, she has started catching on and now she runs to the box to get a tissue. They sit out on the table, so she grabs one and blows and then throws it in the garbage. Hope this helps.
I think its something she will just grow out of, ignore her when she does it is my best advice, i had a neice who would do it especially when we looked and eventually she quit when we didnt pay her any attention!!
my doctor actually told me that most children do this b/c of a vitamin deficiency i put my son on some vitamins aabout two years ago and two weeks from then he stopped doing it and hasn't since... i know it sounds weird i was thinking the doctor had lost his mind but it works!!!! i hope this helps
You are going to think I'm horribly disgusting, but like, who wants boogers in their nose? I pick my nose, and I'm approaching thirty. If you ignore her, and refuse to make a scene, she'll quit.
Now honestly, I guarantee most adults pick their nose, whether they admit to it or not. =)
What worked for me wsa to ignor him when he did it. If you don't make a big deal out of it, she may stop because she's not getting the reaction any more.
Try putting vaseline in and around her nose. She may not want to get that oohwe stuff on her fingers. Just a thought.
