Favorite Playground

What is you kid's favorite part at the playgrounds?
Slides?, climbers? Which part of equipment you would think the playground is not complete without it?
Personally I do not like the swings, mainly because I have to stand there pushing endlessly and if the kids are not careful, accidents from either falling or getting hit by one are more than common.

What can I do next?

I agree with you about swings. There is a lot of things that can happen on them. If they are not put together properly they can come apart like one did on me when I was younger and I broke my leg. My kids favorite part I think is the climbing. But they are part monkey I think. They climb everything even things that are not ment to be climbed like the poles.

My 4 yr olds favorite is the slides - the bigger the better :0) She also likes it if/when they have the little playhouse type structures.

I try and take her to various parks around the city so doesn't get too bored with our neighborhood park. We love exploring new parks together and sometimes we'll go "park hopping" and hit 2-3 in one day. She also loves it when we take a picnic or pick up Subway sandwiches to take. Such fun!

My 3 year old's favorite part of the playground is the swing :( I too dislike the swing because of the endless pushing and I witness kids getting hit when they walk by all too often.

Other than the swing, he loves all the climbers. Our park has a large spider web made out of rope that he LOVES.

We have quite a few neighborhood water spout parks. They are a ton of fun. They have spouts in the foam ground cover that shoots out water. Kids spend hours in play. They also have areas where there is dry play..slides,swings, even teeter toters and the merry go round type toy that you spin around then puke! We have beautiful parks out in my neck of the woods!!

My kids tend to go to the slides and sand.

It is a great day when your child learns to pump their legs while swinging!!

Good luck and best wishes at some fun park play soon!

i am more about the ground covering! pebbles are not my fav. they can be thrown, swallowed, fishing them out of shoes, hard to walk in. i dont dig them at all. i do love that squishy flooring that looks to be like some sort of recycled rubber. i also am a fan of grass. not so much sand or worn out grass that is overly used. those are usually in out of town small town parks.

i think both my kids like to climb and be in the tunnels and on the slides. they are still very small.
