I recently moved to the Sandy Springs/Dunwoody area. My family loves to go out for breakfast on the weekends. Where are your favorite places to go for breakfast? We will travel to other areas if the place is that good.
Thanks for your suggestions!

Flying Biscuit
J. Christophers
Alons

Try West Egg, White House (not waffle house -- well WH is good too but this is a different place), The Social House, Treehouse (brunch), and Pascals. Happy eating!

Mmmmm! In your area, Goldberg's Bagels is yummy and the Ray's on the River brunch is SUPERB -with great views of the Chattahoochee too.

Other faves and their locations:
Pastries A-Go-Go -Downtown Decatur
Thumb's Up -cash only (but ATM instore) -a few locations -we frequent the one on Edgewood in Old 4th Ward
Flying Biscuit -not as good as it used to be when privately owned, but still yummy -several locations -original in Candler Park, one in Midtown, etc.
Crescent Moon -Decatur -fried grits TO DIE FOR
Original Pancake House -one off of Cheshire Bridge and I think there's another somewhere -used to be one in Brookhaven, but it closed.
Ria's Bluebird in Grant Park across from Oakland Cemetery

***All of these are family friendly, but be prepared for long waits at most. Getting there SUPER early -like 7 AM for the breakfast places helps! Call ahead for Ray's on the River.
