Just curious....looking for a comfortable, unique, DELICIOUS place to eat in or around Atlanta. Something different, to get out of the norm. Doesn't have to be "kid-friendly" but it is fine if it is. Just curious to see what y'all's favorite restaurants are! Thanks!

Wisteria in Inman Park is great and so are these others. We live in Atlanta and love to dine out:

Repast

4th and Swift

Sotto Sotto

P'Cheen

Parish

More kid friendly/casual: Doc Chey's, Tin Lizzies Grant Park, Six Feet Under -both locations. The Real Chow Baby

Castleberry Hill near downtown Atlanta is a great neighborhood - very eclectic with lots of art galleries and boutiques. Our favorite restaurant there is No Mas Cantina - great atmosphere and food. We also like the West side Six Feet Under - amazing views of Atlanta from their top deck.

We tried JCT in the Westside Urban Market area and love it. There are sooo many to list. Sotto Sotto was good, as was One Midtown Kitchen. We are trying ENO this weekend, heard it was good. Paper Mill Grill in East Cobb is delish as is Red Salt, Taste and others in Roswell (Canton St). There is an amazing but expensive sushi restaurant called MF in the Terminus Bldg that is great too. What a cool question, can't wait to see other responses.

We love Tasty China in Marietta. It is the most authentic and delicious... not to mention unique flavors I've ever had. It's only been some time in the last 10 years (?) that certain Chinese spices have been permitted in the USA and this restaurant uses them well! A word of warning.... it can be spicy!

For Indian food, Moksha in Alpharetta is excellent.
