Family DDS Needed in East Dallas

HI Moms,
My last visit to my dds was bad enough I have decided not to go back. I've delayed finding another one, and of course, I have a cavity and need one NOW!

I would love to find someone who could take care of my whole family - children under six and adults too. I am a big chicken when it comes to the dentist, so bedside manner and access to current technology for pain relief are important. If you'll just send a name (and number if you have it), I'll start checking to see if they take my insurance.

Thanks for your suggestions!

It's not Dallas, but Garland. I've had the same problems with finding a dentist I like all around and this practice seems very professional and thorough.

Musso Family Dentistry on Centerville close to Northwest Highway. 972/480-8477

My family goes to Greg Smith near Central & Mockingbird. ###-###-####. This includes my 3 year old. He went for the first time earlier this year and is excited about going back. They have a small room with TV for DVD watching while mom is in the chair and once their visit is complete, they get a little toy out of the treasure chest. It's not a fancy, children's office, but they love kids and we've been very pleased. My husband has been with this particular dentist for years before I switched, so we do have a long history with him. Hope you find what you are looking for!

Drs. Payne and Edwards, are in North Mesquite, not too far from East Dallas. They are great and seen our whole family for over 10 years.

You can't do much better than Cheryl Nicoli. She is near Lakepoint Hospital in Rockwall but definately worth the nice drive over the lake. I live in far southeast mesquite & it only takes me about 20 minutes to get there. She is so calm and explains to the children in a cute way what she is doing. She is the most caring dentist I have ever had.

Tell Pat the receptionist that Candy Bywater referred you & maybe you will get in sooner.
Best of luck to you.

Dr. Stanley Poll, DDS -
He is a WONDERFUL dentist......I absolutely hated going to the dentist before I found him, but he is very good at making you feel at ease and I believe he starts treating at 3 years old. He actually fixes your problems instead of those Monarch Dental people that will only work sections at a time - he will work one to two teeth at a time.

He is located in Dallas at East Lake Medical Building:
10611 Garland Rd., Suite 107
Dallas, TX 75218

You can email me back if you have any questions - His secretary's name is Vivian (sweetest woman around)

Try Dr. Tom Watson and Dr. Bill Whitley in Mesquite. Both doctors are great but I generally see Dr. Bill Whitley. Their office has gotten "dentist of the year" or something like that for several years in a row over there. I go there and so far, every visit has been fine. Their number is ###-###-#### and the address is 3133 N. Town East Blvd, Mesquite, TX 75150. I live in Wylie but drive over to Mesquite because I feel like I get good care and believe me, I have had a TON of dental work done so I am picky about my dentist!

I'm a big fan of SmileWorks in Rockwall - check out some previous posts of mine for the details, and the number is ###-###-####.
(And the dentist, "Dr. Clay's" first baby had a stay in the NICU too - we talked about some shared experiences at the Presbyterian Special Care Nursery!)
Best wishes!
