Has anyone tried the fabric sweeper from Pledge? It sounds too good to be true. I have two cats (one long hair). Their fur is EVERYWHERE I would love it if this product would work.

Hi P.,

I actually work for SC Johnson, the company who makes this product and we've had great feedback on it. One of my co-workers has a long-haired cat and she says it works great. It's selling really well in the stores and that's an indication that it works well. I just heard of some instructions online that show you how to modify the sweeper so you can reuse it after it's full of pet hair. It will prolong the life of the item vs. throwing it away after each use.

I'd encourage you to try it!

P.,
I also have two cats and it does work! You do need a bit of elbow grease, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Yes, I just used it and it seems to work well. I have a golden retriever and a cat. You can't use it on leather, but other fabrics work well.

I'll put it this way...I bought one this afternoon and my husband is running around using it on any fabric that he can find. We have two cats and I think the fabric sweeper is already filled with hair! I'm glad they put coupons in the box to buy more. The only downside, it does fill up quickly and you have to buy a new one every time it fills. That can be costly, but for a "once-in-a-while" way to clean up the hair I think it's great.
