Eye Cream

I need to find a good firming eye cream. I'm 45 and I have one eye lid that seems to be getting heavier than the other one. I would like to stay with something from the drugstore. Price is definitely a factor. There are so many to choose from, I need some input from other moms about what works for them. Thanks.

Hi D.,

Definately go with the Arbonne NutriMinC RE9 line. I just joined Arbonne because of that line! I received a sample and wow, what a difference.

I just got some samples in if you would like to try it out!
Let me know, I am in Plano. I truly believe that trying is believing. I've got so many products and I'm going to throw them all away!

I see that you have already gotten tons of responses from Mary Kay, Arbonne, etc., I have done tons of things trying to help the lines around my eyes, and I have used Arbonne for 2 years and just recently started selling it. I actually began using Arbonne because I finally had broken down and did the BOTOX treatment, something I did not want to have to do again. I can let you try the RE9 kit (including the eye cream, lift, etc.) if you would like and get it to you at my discount (which is 35% off).

Let me know what you decide. Good luck.

I agree with Alexis, The Mary Kay eye Firming Cream is the BEST on the market. I am 43 and I see results. At $30 a bottle it is a great deal. It will last you about 6 months.

I will be 40 this June and I've started using a new natural eye cream from www.Mannatech.com (It's already diminishing my dark circles under my eyes :) But because cost is a factor, you might want to try something like cucumber slices. I would do a google search on using food items.

Please be careful in using any eye creams that have preservatives - the eye is a very delicate part of our bodies and we don't want to age it faster or damage it in anyway - research shows that using any facial products with preservatives actually ages you faster (just a tidbit).

Hope that helps,

I sell AVOn and we have GREAT products that are clinically proven to firm your eyes, it is called ANEW Clinical EYE lift.
The first-ever dual eye treatment, give yourself an instant lift!
Instantly, the Upper Eye Gel delivers lift and the Under Eye Cream visibly reduces under eye shadowing. After 1 week: 91% of women said the eye-lid area looked and felt firmer with the Upper Eye Gel*; 87% of women saw less puffiness with the Under Eye Cream*. After 4 weeks: the Upper Eye Gel helps reduce sagging and drooping**. The Under Eye Cream visibly reduces dark circles and crepiness**.

Hi D.,
I come from a family of esteticians and I know almost all the skincare products out there inside and out!
The problem with the drugstore creams is that they are not very strong. The best drugstore treatment to firm up the eye area is hemmeroid cream belive it or not. Its a temporary fix.
There is an eye firming gel by La Prairie that works AWESOME. It tightens the area up IMMEDIATELY.(http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/2858460/0~###-###-####~###-##...)

Hint: For quick fix stick with gels! Creams do not work nearly as fast. There are plenty of night repair eye creams that will help improve the area over time but I'd stick with a higher end cream rather than a drugstore cream. You get what you pay for and your skin is something you should treat with the upmost care.
MD Formulations has an amazing night repair cream for the eye and skin.

There are some great products from Mary Kay. If you're interested, then you can check them out on my website at www.marykay.com/loribethhammond or feel free to give me a call @ ###-###-####

I know all about not wanting to spend a lot of money. Just think of it this way...you may spend a little more on a better product, but you'll use a lot less, it will last longer, and in the long run it will save you money.

I have bad news! Nothing is going to help topically. The best otc cream is Olay Regerist - even retin a can only help wrinkes by about 4%. Nothing can help firmess to a degree that will help laxity in the lid - I know, because I have that problem too! (Im 41)
Keeping my own intests at heart, I have perfected the "botox brow lift" (yes experimenting on myself and my nurses!) If I just do the brow lift, it is between 75-140.00 and will last about 3 mos. Works really well!

Diane, I know someone already suggested this, but Arbonne has wonderful eye creams. I actually have a sample of my favorite one if you would be interested in trying it. I know I hate to spend money when I don't know how it will work. I would be more than happy to send you a sample or if you live near, I could drop it off. Message me if you are interested. Then if you like it, I would be more than happy to order you a bottle of it.

We also have what I like to call "Botox in a bottle" that is wonderful for giving you a lift.

I would check out www.evansgarden.com. They are a wonderful "mom & pop" company that formulates & mixes their own products- which are top notch, as well as being TRULY natural & organic to boot. I believe they have an eye firming cream, but check out their website & ask any questions prior to ordering. Kevin, the "pop," is great at responding, as is Evan herself. Pricing is good & you get 15% off 1st order & free shipping!

I see someone else responded for AVON and I don't want to steal their thunder but you should try their ANEW Ultimate line specifically for people 45+. We also have the Clinical line that has an Eye Lift cream.

Please let me know if others haven't worked and you would be interested.

Hi D.,

I agree with the Arbonne recommendations--their eye cream is wonderful! It really reduces the puffiness and dark circles around my eyes, plus my crows feet lines aren't as deep as they used to be. What's great about the Arbonne products is that they believe you should be able to "try before you buy." If you'd like to sample the eye cream, please let me know, I'd be more than happy to share it with you, no obligation. The eye cream is my #1 seller--everyone who tries it, loves it! I give all my first-time clients a discount, plus Arbonne has a 45 day money-back guarantee. What I also like about the products is that they have a metered pump, so you only need to use a small amount, which makes the products last 4 - 6 months. It's great not having to repurchase products every month or two!

If you'd like to read more about the eye cream, visit our website: http://www.arbonne.com/products/anti-aging/nutriminc/face...

Good luck in your search! Have a wonderful day!

D.,
I used to use the eyecreams from Clinique, but out of desperation, and not being able to get to the mall one day, bought the WalMart brand of firming eye cream and love it! I have very sensitive eyes and it seems to be just fine with me! I never would have thought the WalMart brand would be any good, but it's worth a try and you only spend a few dollars if you don't like it!
