Euro Disney

Ok - so there is a 99.9% chance that I finally get to go to Paris, and go to Euro Disney! So excited. Any Euro Disney visitors? When it first opened, I remember hearing not too good reviews about it. I've also only been to Disneyland, not Disney World, and right now my 5 year old daughter has no idea that we are considering going! We (my mom, step dad and my daughter - my husband can't go due to work) will be going for the Thanksgiving week (which may be a touchy subject with my in-laws since we will be missing the holiday, but I'm probably just feeling guilty and they''ll be excited). So - 2 issues - moral support to steer clear of any holiday strife and what to do in France with a 5 year old besides Disney?! Probably just one Disney day and the rest sightseeing and eating cheese :)

What can I do next?

I can't comment on Euro Disney because I haven't gone but I just want to say HAVE FUN! My husband and I went to Paris in February and we absolutely loved it!!!
I would look at Tripadvisor for tips and reviews on what to do with kids while there. I'm sure your daughter would enjoy the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower and a river cruise down the Seine :)

I would go to Euro Disney only because I'm a disney freak. I went about 10 years ago and loved it. It was pretty small when I was there but it was a while ago so maybe they have added to it since then. I had a great time. Yes it's a bit far outside of Paris but if you plan to stay there you can go there first and use their bus service from the airport like they do in Florida. Or rent a car which is what we did. Driving in France is pretty easy in comparison to other foreign countries and we had no problems. Just do the december holidays with your in-laws. Really they should be understanding since you have the opportunity. If not then have your hubby deal with them.

Euro Disney is about 20 miles from Paris and you'll need a car to get there. Once in the park it's pretty typical Disney; it's Europe's #1 tourist attraction now that people aren't picketing it for being too American.

If it was me... I'd skip Disney because it's a pain to get to and there's so much to do in Paris. Whatever you do - enjoy! Paris is my favorite place in the world.
